    Hi Zahir - I spoke to GoDaddy, my hosting provider. They admitted my site was hacked and other than that section of code being inserted, folder/file permissions were changed also. It did not appear that anything was deleted, just that section of code and the permission levels. I use Dreamweaver but was not able to sync my local version to the remote site due to the file permissions being changed. They were able to restore the site back to 11/21/2013 and everything appears to be OK at this point.

    I appreciate your assistance, thank you so much...

    Tom

    I doubt this has anything to do with the template, since the template's only responsible for displaying on the frontend of the site, not the admin backend.
    Any ideas ???

    Yes... When viewing the source of the admin login page, I see:
    <style type="text/css">
    html { display:none }
    </style>

    You should be able to remove this from the index.php file, though it seems like your site may have been hacked for it to have gotten there in the first place.

    I looked there. That line of code is not in the index.php in Administrator.
    Im using dreamweaver and did a search of that code and it was not found either.
    I will go to the joomla forum and ask there also. Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Tom

    If you send me your ftp details, I may be able to look into it... its hard to identify this sort of issue without viewing any of the files. email it to info @ themerepublic . com
