special classes

0
Hi,

Recently I installed the Clarion template. It works well with K2 and K2 mart. I'm very happy with it.

There's only one "but" - when I apply special classes to paragraphs (like <blockquote> or <ul class="arrowlist"> or <p class="icon-tips"> or any other from the beautiful set - nothing happens. Only the h1-h6 styles work.

Any Idea what's wrong?

    Hi Mike,
The logos at the bottom are done using the dj image slider module (similar to the one placed at the top). The module is published in the user16 position. Let me know if you need the actual module settings and i'll send them to you.

    Hi Michal,

Have you installed and enabled the JA Typo Plugin on your site? This is a requirement to display many of the typography styles. Make sure that the plugin is both installed and published.

If it is installed and published, then please let me know what version of the template, joomla and K2 you're using. If your site is online, also send me a link to the site as well so I may look into it.

    Hi Admin,

I managed with the additional styles. The Optimize CSS and Optimize JS "On" made the issue. Now it's OK, I have the styles and they work.

The only problem is the files upload to replace the images... Weird, I have to check also with my server admins.

Re: failure to upload images - this may be a permissions related issue. Are logging in via ftp as the "owner" of these files? (In most cases, the file owner can be checked on on the file properties). Also check the file permissions - try setting them to 755.

Luckily the files upload and replacement issue was only because the limit of the number of files allowed was exceeded. Server admins multiplied the limit. Therefore there's no issue now! Thank you for quick replies!

    Hi again,

unfortunately another issue: module class suffixes. When I apply them the only result is that they get the corner badges (hot, new etc.) if the style contain one. The background and frames do not show. Have no idea how to fix that. Could you advise?

    Hi Michal,

What module class suffix are you using? Do remember that you need to leave a space before any of the suffixes. e.g. " style2-dark" (without quotes - see attachment).

If you're already doing this, then can you send me a link to your site or the html from the frontend associated with the module in question?

I notice this is missing in the current documentation and will add it soon - thanks for bringing it up!

The space before the class suffix does the job!
    Thanks again!!!
